Paper planning that doesn’t make your brain say “f*%k paper planning”
ADHD Paper is a paper planning system for women with ADHD who get overwhelmed or overstimulated the moment a planner opens. If you’ve bought the pretty notebook, filled in three days, missed a week, felt terrible about the blank pages and the money, and shoved it in a drawer — you’re exactly who this is for.
Gentle words, on purpose
You won’t find “notes” or “planner” around here. We say glimpse and jot. Formal words come with formal expectations, and an ADHD brain hears “you have to do this properly.” A glimpse is just a look. A jot is just a scribble. It doesn’t have to be that deep, and it’s a lot easier on your brain when it isn’t.
Open-face planning
We practice open-face planning: your planner lives open, in a spot in your home you already walk past all the time. The kitchen counter, next to the coffee, by the couch. You don’t go find your planner; you just happen to be near it. That’s the whole trick. The less it asks of you, the more you’ll actually use it.
Undated, so skipping is allowed
Everything we make is undated. Skip a day, skip a week, plan on your phone for a while, forget it exists — it’s okay. When you come back, the next page is just waiting for you. No wasted dated pages staring at you. No guilt. No “I paid for this and ruined it.” You pick it up when you’re ready, and it meets you there.
Who’s behind it
ADHD Paper is made by Brianne, a nurse, wife, mom of two, and late-diagnosed ADHDer. She also writes about ADHD in women at Brianne Saturdays. Every page here was designed for her own brain first.
